The incubation program of the National Black Worker Center contributes to the mission and goal of building Black worker power, dismantling anti-Black racism, and fighting to have and maintain fair working conditions for Black workers across the United States.
This program is designed to help Black workers have a streamlined process that will allow them to take their idea of creating a Black worker center in their city and make it into a reality. The process consists of 52 weeks that span survey canvassing to identify issues in the community, building campaign initiatives that leverage those issues to create a movement home for Black workers, and hosting webinars/trainings that help develop the skill set of leaders who are creating the Black worker center.
